This module explains how to register vehicles, maintain driver information, and configure freight rates for transport operations in DVyapar.

Click on Vehicles, Drivers, Rates on left sidebar

Step 1: Add Vehicle Details

Register the vehicles used in your transport business. Enter the required vehicle information, including the vehicle registration number and other relevant details, to maintain an organized vehicle record.

Enter the vehicle registration number, vehicle type, carrying capacity, and unit of measurement (UOM). Also, provide the vehicle owner's name and mobile number to maintain accurate vehicle records in DVyapar. Click on Save to save the added details.

Step 2: Add Driver Details

Add the details of drivers working with your transport business. Record their names, contact information, driving licence details, and other required information to maintain accurate driver records.

Enter the driver's name, mobile number, driving licence number, and licence expiry date. Select the vehicle registration number assigned to the driver from the available options. Once all the details have been entered, click Save Driver to save the record.

Step 3: Configure Freight Rates

Create freight rate entries by specifying the trip's starting location (From), destination (To), and the applicable trip price or freight charge. These rates help maintain consistent pricing for transport routes.

Enter the rate name and specify the route by selecting the starting location (From) and destination (To). Choose the pricing type, such as Fixed Rate, Per Kilometre, or Per Hour, and enter the applicable rate amount. Select the billing party for whom the transport service is provided (Any Billing Party is selected); typically, this is the customer or party responsible for the freight charges. Finally, click Save to save the freight rate details.

The saved details will be displayed in their respective lists under Vehicles, Drivers, and Transport Rates, allowing you to review the records easily.
