In the transport and logistics business, customers are classified into two types: Consignors and Consignees.

Consignor: The person or business that owns or sends the goods through a transport or logistics service.

Consignee: The person or business that receives the goods at the destination, usually the buyer or intended recipient.

Both consignors and consignees are managed as customers under the Customers/Parties section in DVyapar. You can add and maintain their details in this section for easy access when creating transport records.

Click on Customers/Parties

Click on Add Customer

The Create Customer page will open, where you can enter the customer’s details and add the consignor or consignee to DVyapar

Enter the Business Name, Contact Person Name, Phone Number, Email Address, and GST Number. Then, provide the complete business address to maintain accurate customer records in DVyapar.

Click on Create Customer to save the details

The Customer Created list will be display here

Repeat the same process to add “n” number of customers (consigner/consignee).
