The retailer enables the Gatepass Module.

The relevant gate-pass functionality becomes available if supported by the application.

Navigate to Settings

Click on Modules

Enable Gatepass Module

Click on Save Settings to save the details

When the Gatepass module is enabled in Settings, the Gatepasses option appears in the left sidebar under the System section, allowing users to access the gatepass functionality

The Gatepasses screen in DVyapar allows retailers to view, search, filter, create, and export gatepass records related to goods movement

Click on Generate Gatepass allows users to open the gatepass creation form and enter details about the movement of goods

Linked Invoice: Allows the user to select an existing invoice or choose Manual Gatepass to create a gatepass without selecting a specific invoice

Movement Type: Direction of goods movement, such as Inward or Outward

Date: Enter the date of the goods movement

Party Name: Enter the name of the customer, supplier, transporter, or other party associated with the movement

Vehicle No: Enter the vehicle number used to transport the goods

Reference Type: Identifies the type of reference associated with the gatepass (Manual, Sale, Purchase)

Reference ID: An optional field for entering the identifier of the related reference record

Notes: Allows users to add additional information about the goods movement

The gatepass details can be filled as shown in image

Click on Create Gatepass to create a gatepass record in DVyapar

Indicates that the Gatepass is generated

After creating a gatepass, DVyapar displays a gatepass document containing the gatepass number, movement details, party information, reference details, and notes. Users can print or share the document and send it by email
